All data is stored on servers housed in the central University of Kansas (KU) Information Technology building (a large concrete structure at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas). The operating systems are supported by KU IT staff and monitored 24/7 by KU IT Network Operations Center staff.
The KU IT Security Office provides credentialed scanning every 41 hours. Incremental server backups are done every day starting at 3:00 am. Backups are stored offsite. Data are stored in accordance with the policies and procedures of the University of Kansas and the Center for Community Health and Development. KU IT has a formal disaster recovery plan.
